GH1322 Gear Head Lathe

The Warco GH1300 series of lathes offers truly robust, durable construction, with excellent levels of build quality. These are highly accurate, precise lathes with a wide range of metalworking applications.

Available with or without a fully installed glass optical digital readout system and with a choice of 1 or 3 phase (240v or 440v).

Features include:

• Induction hardened and ground bedways
• Hardened, precision ground headstock gears ensure extremely quiet operation
• D1-4 spindle supported by taper roller bearings
• Overload clutch to saddle feed shaft

• Removable gap bed, dowelled for accurate relocation

• Safe, low voltage circuit with overload cut out
• Spindle brake, extremely effective, will immediately brake lathe from highest speed of 2000rpm
• In an emergency situation, the brake will also disconnect the electrical drive
• Slide out coolant / chip tray
• Telescopic leadscrew covers
• Accuracy test report is supplied with each individual machine
• Emergency electric cut out switch
• Jogging button to assist chuck rotation throughout the speed range
• Offset tailstock facility
• Independent feed shaft to saddle for longitudinal and cross feed
• Adjustable gibs to top slide and cross slide
• Thread dial indicator
• Power longitudinal and cross feed, powered by a dedicated feed shaft
• Interlock chuck guard and gear train cover
• Optional glass optical digital readout system.
